My Son Sanctuary, Vietnam (HD)

About an hour from Hoi An, Vietnam, lies one of the most spectacular examples of ancient Hindu architecture you’ll find in all of Southeast Asia. With temples that rival those at Angkor Wat, My Son Sanctuary is sure to blow your mind!
Though on a much smaller scale than the more famous Hindu structures in Cambodia, My Son offers a quiet, off-the-beaten path you won’t find at those other sites. Enjoy my travel channel!
Music:
“Strings In Wind” , “Under Morning Clouds” – “Fragments”, by Jurica Jelic
“YMMV”, “Classwar Karaoke” – Bodhi Fetters

  1. មិនគួរណានិយាយច្រើនអំពីជាតិសាសន៍ដែលចាំតែទទួលផលប្រយោជន៍ពីគេនោះទេ នោះគឺ…វៀតណាម

  2. Suuure… it was the Viet Cong's fault that the Americans bombed it. Gimme a fuckin break.

'History is written by the victors' …. usually. But evidently it can also be written by the losers.

  3. As a Vietnamese individual, who love art and history so much, I feel sorrow for this beauty. A war is always a destruction which kills human beings and devastates pieces of art. The Vietnam War was such a foolish war because we all could prevent it from occurring. North Vietnamese, South Vietnamese and American were supposed to be friends, and these stunning places should be kept safe from fire. Kien Trung Palace in Hue imperial citadel, My Son A1 Tower, and so many gorgeous buildings were ruined by both VC and American troops. I appreciate your work and your efforts to express My Son as a miserably charming sanctuary!

  4. Very informative, I think the strongest scenes were when you were facing the camera giving your commentary. But careful, a few zooms and movement in the early scenes were a little dizzying if you watch it full screen.

  5. I see you might put a lot of time and effort in your video! You did great! It feels like a real documentary that could be seen on TV! I liked it! And a bit of an indiana jones style! 😉 cheers
